Quality & Policies
Equal
Opportunities:
FSG Security Plc is
an Equal Opportunities Employer. It has an equal
opportunities policy which aims to ensure that no job
applicant, employee or group of employees receives less
favourable treatment on the grounds of sex, religion,
marital status, disability, age, race, colour, and
nationality, ethnic or national origins or is disadvantaged
by conditions or requirements which cannot be shown to be
justifiable. Disabled applicants and employees are afforded
the provision of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
FSG Equal
Opportunities Policy also allows for appointments under the
"Genuine Occupational Qualifications" provisions of Section
7 of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975. FSG will therefore apply employment policies, which are
fair and consistent with the skills and abilities of its
employees.
This policy continues
not only in the recruitment process, but also throughout an
employee's period of employment with FSG and all of its
subsidiary companies, ensuring all employees are offered
equal opportunities for recruitment, training and promotion.
In order to ensure that the policy is maintained, all FSG
management involved in recruitment will ensure that no form
of discrimination will be practised or tolerated.
FSG Security
Plc has a clearly defined quality management system in
place. All non-conformances are recorded, corrective
actions agreed and preventative action implemented within a
very swift timescale.
The Group recognises the importance of
establishing customer requirements from the outset, and then
monitors its performance through the use of clearly defined
policy statements held within its procedures manual and each
set of assignment instructions. These manuals and
instructions act as the instrument of authority to all
Company employees in the execution of their duties.
FSG Security Plc and its Group of companies, recognises and
adheres to the legal requirements of the Health & Safety
Policy which is a direct obligation arising from s.2 (3) of
the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. The Management
at Work Regulations 1992, and associated legislation give
effect in the UK to the European Union framework directive
89/391 and places further obligations on employers to ensure
that policies and procedures are in place to ensure that
risks to employees are reduced to a minimum.
The Group is
committed to the adoption of environmentally responsible
policies and practises, together with the regular review of
both to ensure where possible that there is scope for
further improvements. Our aims, through continuous staff
awareness, are to create and maintain the highest levels of
environmental responsibility.
FSG maintains a fundamental belief in the
importance of protecting the environment, and it will take
all steps necessary to eliminate, or control environmental
hazards by:
Striving to adopt the highest possible environmental
standards in all its operations, wherever these are located.
Aiming to achieve the most economical use of materials,
supplies and energy, using renewable or recycled materials
wherever possible.
Keeping itself fully informed of best practises elsewhere.
Minimising waste produced in all parts of the business.
Encouraging similar environmental standards to be achieved
by all third parties involved with its business.
Encouraging employee involvement in positive environmental
action.
Regularly assessing the environmental impact of its
operations.
Communicating its policy to customers, and employees.
